FleetView Strategic Development Plan
A strategic roadmap for enhancing FleetView with new features and capabilities, moving from immediate enhancements to advanced, long-term features.
1. AI-Powered Insights Homepage
- Goal: To create a central dashboard for high-level fleet insights instead of a simple vehicle list.
- Current State: The homepage is now a dynamic dashboard that uses a sophisticated AI flow to analyze recent fleet activity. It presents key metrics like active vehicles, speeding incidents, notable stops, harsh accelerations, harsh braking, and excessive idling.
2. Dataset & Time Range Filtering
- Goal: To empower users to filter insights by specific datasets (Samsara/IVMS) and various time periods.
- Current State: The homepage now features tabs to switch between datasets and a comprehensive time range selector (Today, Last 24/48/72 Hours, 7 Days, This/Last Month, This Year), enabling flexible and focused analysis.
3. Dedicated Live Map Dashboards
- Goal: To create separate, dedicated pages for the live map views, improving application structure and user navigation.
- Current State: The Samsara and IVMS live dashboards now exist on their own pages (`/samsara` and `/ivms`), each providing a real-time map and vehicle list.
